#WinterFierce Holiday Curls Updo | feat. Entwine Couture

 

 

 

Hey Everyone,

 

I have recently teamed up with Entwine Couture to bring you my best #WinterFierce hairstyle.  With the Holidays right around the corner this would be the perfect time to rock your own natural in a #WinterFierce style in order to be the show stopper during any Holiday occasion.

 

In my Winter Fierce Holiday Curls tutorial, I take you from start to finish using only Entwine Couture products which are known for their hydrating and moisturizing properties. This Fabolous, Fly, and Fierce Flat-twist updo with some soft curls was just the look I was going for.  Check below for a complete list of products that I used to create style.

Argan Oil - Prepoo'd my hair using the 100% raw & vegan Argan Oil (helps to soften my hair, helps with detangling, and helps with moisture                                                                 


Act I Lathering Hair Bathe - Shampooed my hair using Act I of The Clique. This is a sulfate free and cleansed my hair without over-drying it.

Exotique Moisture Masque - I followed up and deep conditioned my hair with the newest product in Entwine's collection.  This product smells amazing and is a light masque that literally melts into the hair, making detangling a breeze.  *This is of my favorite deep conditioners of all time*

 

Afrodisia 9 Exotique Leave-in Hair Potion - I applied this leave-in into my hair which is a lightweight product that works well with other stylers and moisturizers.  It also aides in detangling and adds an extra layer of moisture into the hair.                                                                    Indulgently Luxe Exotique Butter Crème Hydrator - This product was applied throughout my hair to add more moisture and hydration to the hair which is very vital during the cooler months of the year.

 

The Manipulator Crème Jelle Styler - This product was applied next and it has moisturizing properties as well, but it is known for the definition it provides for any roller set style or flat-twist out or twist out hairstyle.

 

On The Edge Crème De La Mod - This product is a pomade that will help with keeping those edges laid.  It was used around my edges and provided the perfect amount of hold.

Tracee Ellis Ross Inspired Big Natural Hair

Hey Everyone....as fly and fabulous as we are, there are still people around us who we draw inspiration from. Whether it's a celebrity or someone within our own families, someone or something tends to influence our sense of style.

Well....a few weeks ago I teamed up with Entwine Couture as apart of their How-To ICON SERIES. This series brought different vloggers together showcasing different hairstyles that were created with the use of Entwine Couture Products and that were inspired by our own style icons.

My Style Icon is Tracee Ellis-Ross. I was a huge fan of hers since "Girlfriends".  I sure was heartbroken when that show ended. Okay....let me get back to the subject at hand. I absolutely love Tracee's since of style when it comes to fashion and I absolutely love her big, full, and voluminous natural hair. 

 

 

I wanted to find an easy way to recreate her signature big hair, so I decided to do (2) French braids that I slept in overnight and then took them down the next day.

The Perfect Bantu Knot Out feat. Entwine Couture

I was recently sent some products from Entwine Naturalle Couture to review.  I was super excited to finally get my hands on some of their products, because I have heard nothing but great things about them. I was sent the  {BEYOND EXPECTED} Audition Collezioini (pictured below) and I must say I was truly impressed by these products. 

 

 

Entwine Couture has put together this awesome set that allows you to try out sample sizes of their products at an awesome price.  I know I hate it when I buy a full jar of something only to find out my hair does not love it or like it. Well, this kit definitely won't disappoint and you won't feel like you have wasted your money.

0.5 oz of The Manuipulator Crème Jelle Styler (This is used to add a touch of hold and definition to your style)

0.5 oz of On the Edge Crème De La Mold (This is a pomade use to add more hold, especially to your edges)

1 oz of Act One Cleansing + Growth Lathering Hair Bathe (This is used to cleanse your hair without over drying)

1 oz of Act Two Hydrating + Growth Crème Hair Rinse (This is used to condition the hair and add moisture)

0.25 oz of "Total Perfection" Argan Oil (This is used to add shine, seal in moisture, and help prevent frizz._

With these products I decided to create the "Perfect Bantu Knot Out".  The Bantu Knot Out is a perfect hairstyle for those of use who are fully natural as well as those that are transitioning.  It is a great way to help blend both textures (your natural hair texture and relaxed texture) together for a seamless look.  This style can be achieved on wet hair for a more shrunken and longer lasting look. But, I tend to see the best results when I do it on dry hair because it eliminates the style not coming out right due to some of my knots not being fully dry.

P.S. Bantu Knots are not the greatest to sleep on.  Make sure you leave a space in the back of your head when you are setting your hair, so you can sleep on your back.
