Top 10 Must Have Hair and Beauty Products for the Summer

Summer time is officially here!!! Yay!!! It's time to hit the pool, lay out in the sun, have cookouts, and take those much deserved vacations.  Before you get all excited and hit the ground running, check out my Top 10 Must Have Hair and Beauty Products for the Summer to help get you Summer Time ready.

Here are my Top 10 Must Have Hair and Beauty Products for the Summer.

It's very important to keep those lips thoroughly moisturized and hydrated this time of year, so my favor lip balm would be the Evolution of Smooth (E.O.S.) Lip Balm.  These lips balms are mainly 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil. They keep your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth.

Head Wraps or Turbans are another must have for the summer.  They are not only good for those bad hair days, but they also act as the perfect accessory to any hairstyle.  You can use a long scarf or fabric to sweep your hair up into fabulous updo or bun keeping your hair off your neck during these hot months or you can choose to wear them over a wash'n'go, twist-out, or those goddess like Senegalese twists.

Coconut Oil is not only a must have for the summer, but for all year round.  This light weight oil has so many uses, but when it comes to hair this oil is not only used to minimize frizz and to add shine to the hair during a time of year when the heat/sun can dry your hair out, but it also helps to lock in the moisture by acting as a sealant to the hair cuticles when applied in conjunction with a water based leave in conditioner or moisturize.  This will aide in keeping the healthy and keeping it from being dry and brittle during this time of year.












Co-Washing my hair is so important because I don't want to strip my hair and I want it to stay moisturized and conditioner and co-washing does that all the while getting my hair and scalp clean. My favorite must have co-washes this summer are Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Conditioning Co-Wash, Aussie Moist Conditioner, & Pantene Truly Natural Hair Co-Wash.













Nappy Kinks Nubian Goddess Body Bronzer made my list because this Avocado and Sweet Almond oil based product gives the skin a beautiful sun-kissed glow without leaving the skin dry or sticky. It lasts all day and looks amazing on all skin shades.


















These Essie Nail Polishes will definitely add the perfect accent to any summer dress or romper this season, so they are on the list. These long lasting and wearing polishes come in  a variety of bright and bold colors that can suite the most daring or the most meek personality.












This Beautiful Textures Rapid Repair Deep Conditioner is a must have for the woman on the go this summer.  This deep conditioner is enriched with Aloe Vera, Coconut, Olive, Soy, Argan Oil, Shea and Mango Butter which all provide tons of moisture to the hair.
